The Utah State Aggies football program has reeled in yet another commitment for its 2022 recruiting class, as Herriman offensive lineman Kauasi Hansen announced his pledge via Twitter on Monday morning.

Listed by 247 Sports at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, Hansen is originally from California but moved to Utah and plays for Herriman. According to Hansen’s Twitter account, Utah State was the first Division I program to offer him a scholarship back in February.

Unlike a number of the Aggies’ recent commits who only have a Division I offer from Utah State, Hansen holds offers from a bunch of the Aggies’ Mountain West Conference foes, and BYU offered him last month.

Hansen becomes the 17th prospect to commit to Utah State as part of its 2022 recruiting class, nine of which have pledged over the last 10 days.
