As the Utah State Aggies football program continues to load up on committed prospects for its 2022 recruiting class, it has added a pledge from a productive player in the Beehive State.

On Monday morning, Park City running back Max Alford announced his commitment via Twitter.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, Alford rushed for 1,020 yards on just 98 carries with seven touchdowns as a junior in 2020, according to the Deseret News statistical database. Additionally, he caught 30 passes for 448 yards with two touchdowns.

According to 247 Sports, Alford holds scholarship offers from three other Mountain West Conference schools beside Utah State — Air Force, Colorado State and New Mexico — along with a handful of others from both the FBS and FCS ranks.
