Just days before the 2021 college football season kicks off, the Utah Utes received another commitment for the 2022 recruiting class.

This one comes from Hawaii offensive tackle Tavo Motuapuaka, who announced his commitment via Twitter on Monday.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Motuapuaka plays at Miliani High in Hawaii and also held offers from a handful of other Western schools, including fellow Pac-12 institution Washington State and four Mountain West schools including Utah State, Hawaii, UNLV and San Diego State, according to 247 Sports.

Motuapuaka is the eighth commit to the Utes’ 2022 class, per 247 Sports, and the first offensive lineman.
