After Bryson Barnes threw an interception, the Ducks went 52 yards in five plays for a touchdown, the last play being when Bo Nix and Traeshon Holden connected from five yards out.

8:44 — After Utah did nothing on the first drive of the second half, Oregon got the ball and went 76 yards over 12 plays for a touchdown. The Utes got the Ducks to third down three times during the drive, but Oregon converted all three and capped the drive with a 9-yard run by Bucky Irving.

0:00 — Cole Becker and the Utes tacked another field goal on the board as the second quarter clock expired, this one from 30 yards out. It completed a 10-play, 53-yard drive that was Utah’s best of the half by a wide margin. With the drive starting with 1:22 on the clock, the Utes found success using their hurry-up offense as Bryson Barnes completed 5 of 8 passes for all 53 yards of the drive.

12:29 — Following a miscommunication between Utah quarterback Bryson Barnes and two-way player Sione Vaki led to an Oregon interception, the Ducks went 30 yards in five plays for a touchdown, which culminated when Bo Nix found Troy Franklin from three yards out.

First quarter

Oregon 14, Utah 3

0:18 — After Utah’s field goal, Oregon put together another 75-yard drive for a touchdown right before the end of the first quarter. The Ducks converted their lone third down on the drive and it was punctuated on an 18-yard connection from Bo Nix to Jordan James.

3:45 — Following Nix’s touchdown, the Utes’ drive was stalled on a fourth down when they went for it in field goal range, but Junior Tafuna came up with a fumble recovery on the very next play. Utah couldn’t capitalize on the short field with a touchdown, but Cole Becker made a 32-yard field goal to get the Utes on the board.

12:18 — After a false start on the first offensive play of the game, Oregon marched 75 yards in just six plays, mostly via the pass, and took the lead on a 1-yard touchdown push by quarterback Bo Nix.
