Utah’s chances to three-peat as Pac-12 champions took a big hit Saturday when the Utes lost to Oregon 35-6.

That lopsided defeat dropped Utah to No. 18 in the latest Associated Press poll and No. 18 in the coaches poll. Both top 25 rankings were released Sunday.

That was a five-spot drop in both polls for the Utes and is tied for the lowest Utah has been ranked in the AP poll this season.

On Tuesday, Utah will find out where it lands in another key ranking. That night, the season’s initial College Football Playoff rankings will be released.
