Oasis Cafe, 151 S. 500 East, will be open for Thanksgiving brunch on Thursday, Nov. 28, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The menu will include traditional breakfast dishes, soups, salads and sandwiches, according to a news release. Other items include German buttermilk pancakes with blueberry compote or eggs Benedict Florentine or chef Efren’s breakfast burrito. Reservations are suggested for Thanksgiving brunch. The Salt Lake City Arts Council invites Utah artists and teams to submit qualification for potential inclusion in the “2020 Pre-Qualified Artist Pool.” According to a news release, chosen artists will be commissioned for new public art projects. Bountiful Davis Art Center, 90 N. Main, Bountiful, will host its third annual Gingerbread Festival in December. The organization is accepting entries Nov. 25-27. The County Library, in partnership with Salt Lake County Aging and Adult Services, is hosting a PetsPlus Food Drive this month. According to a news release, people are invited to help feed seniors’ pets by contributing to a food drive. The food will benefit pets that belong to recipients of Meals on Wheels.
