Pedro Pascal — who plays the Mandalorian on “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” — spent more time on set for the second season opposed to the first.
- This comes despite rumors that Pascal left the show early.
- “For season 2, Pascal says he was on the set far more, though he still sat out many of Mando’s stunts,” according to Variety.
- “If there were more than just a couple of pages of a one-on-one scene, I did feel uneasy about not, in some instances, being able to totally author that,” Pascal said, according to Variety. “But it was so easy in such a sort of practical and unexciting way for it to be up to them. When you’re dealing with a franchise as large as this, you are such a passenger to however they’re going to carve it out. It’s just so specific. It’s ‘Star Wars.’”
Rumors speculated that Pascal left the show after he “had numerous disagreements with the creative team and went to the studio behind their backs to plead his case, which allegedly resulted in the former ‘Game of Thrones’ star being given his marching orders,” according to We Got This Covered.
Later, Pascal posted a photo that showed him still on the set of the show.
