“The Mandalorian” star Pedro Pascal has showed his support for cast member Gina Carano in a recent social media post, even as the actress continues to face controversy because of social media.
What’s going on?
Pedro Pascal has shared an Instagram post that praised the cast members of the show. His post shared a poster for the most recent episode of the series.
- He called co-star Gina Carano “indomitable.”

The Instagram post has some mature language so we won’t post the poster here. But it is another sign that the cast of “Mandalorian” is fully behind Carano, who has been under fire from some Twitter users because of her political beliefs.
- The social media post also confirms Pascal is still with the show despite rumors that he had decided to leave, which I wrote about for the Deseret News.
Carano controversy
Over the last few weeks, social media users have criticized Carano for her social media posts, highlighting one where she shared a meme that seemed to ridicule face masks.
She still remains on “The Mandalorian.” The most recent episode setup two potential changes for her role there, though. One showed a way for her to exit the show if she wanted to leave — or if Disney Plus decided to fire her from the program — and the other showed how she could potentially get her own spinoff.
