WASHINGTON — The House Oversight Committee investigating the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein released its latest tranche of photos from the Epstein estate, showing a number of high-profile politicians, including President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton, who were in his orbit.

The photos did not show the figures engaging in any impropriety nor does it indicate any wrongdoing. But the documents give a look into who Epstein socialized with while allegedly orchestrating a sex trafficking ring of young girls.

Top Democrats on the Oversight Committee said they received over 95,000 photos from the Epstein estate, which are still being reviewed by lawmakers. The committee released a batch of 19 photos on Friday, which included three photos of Trump with Epstein and women whose faces were censored to protect their identities.

There was also a signed photo of Clinton standing next to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who is now in federal custody on charges of working with Epstein.

The White House criticized the committee for only releasing a fraction of the total photos, accusing Democrats of “selectively releasing cherry-picked photos with random redactions to try and create a false narrative.”

“The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked and the Trump Administration has done more for Epstein’s victims than Democrats ever have by repeatedly calling for transparency, releasing thousands of pages of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein’s Democrat friends,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in a statement. “It’s time for the media to stop regurgitating Democrat talking points and start asking Democrats why they wanted to hang around Epstein after he was convicted.”

Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, told reporters on Friday that some of the photos were “incredibly disturbing” and were not released to protect the victims.

“These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world,” Garcia said in a statement. “We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”
