Chrissy Teigen is well-known for her social media skills. But social media also finds a way to shame her, she revealed in a recent interview.
What’s going on?
- Teigen told Today Parents that she consistency faces criticism online for her marriage to John Legend and her role as a mother for her daughter Lune, 3, and son Miles, 1.
- Teigen said comments affect her the most.
- Teigen: “It’s pretty much everything. Any time I post a picture of them holding ribs or eating sausage, I get a lot of criticism. Vegans and vegetarians are mad and feel that we forcing meat upon them at a young age. They freak out.”
- Teigen: “If they get a glimpse of the car seat there is a lot of buckle talk. Maybe for one half of a second, the strap slipped down. And TV is another big one. We have TV on a lot in my house. John and I work on television; we love watching television.”
More on parenting
- Teigen told Refinery29 that her mindset as a parent usually includes listening to your intuition.
- Teigen said: “I didn’t read any books, I didn’t do anything. I didn’t want to read something and have it stuck in my head that that’s the way it had to be done.” The TV personality, who has two children, says that when she faces a parenting obstacle she doesn’t know the answer to, she adopts a “wait and see” attitude, letting the situation play out naturally.
