The Gateway will offer visitors maps to help them locate artwork that is visible from inside a vehicle.

The Gateway in Salt Lake City is offering a Drive-Thru Art Stroll starting April 17, featuring artwork that can be enjoyed without leaving the car.

During this time of social distancing, The Gateway in Salt Lake City will be hosting a Drive-Thru Art Stroll, according to a press release on Tuesday.

The Drive-Thru Art Stroll will be held in conjunction with the regular Salt Lake City art stroll on April 17, and will feature new Art Shop Project windows, Utah beehive crosswalks, and work from a variety of local artists, according to the press release.

The Gateway will offer a map for visitors to locate the different artworks, all of which will be visible from a car, as well as a map of restaurants at The Gateway that are open for curbside takeout.

The “Ombre Stairs” by the Urban Arts Gallery in Salt Lake City is part of the Drive-Thru Art Stroll taking place at The Gateway starting April 17.

Featured art will include the “Ombre Stairs” by the Urban Arts Gallery, “Transitions” by Robyn Briggs and Jessica Hernandez, “Desert Oasis” by Douglas Tolman and Alex Bang, “Hope Springs Eternal” by Laura Ashby, and the new “Queens of Music” cubes at the Olympic Legacy Fountain.

The Gateway is also featuring a website where visitors can find artists featured in the Art Stroll and purchase their work.

The Drive-Thru Art Stroll will be available through the entire month of April to encourage social distancing and allow visitors to “spread out and take their time seeing it,” according to the press release.
