Former First Lady Michelle Obama hosted her first PBS Kids story time Monday, reading Julia Donaldson’s “The Gruffalo” aloud for an audience that has already reached more than 130,000 people, the New York Times reports.

Through May 11, Obama will read one of her favorite picture books live on PBS Kids at 10 a.m. MST every Monday, CBS reports. Each story will be available online on the PBS Kids Facebook and YouTube channels, and Penguin Random House’s Facebook page.

“As a little kid, I loved to read aloud. And when I became a parent, I found such joy in sharing the magic of storytelling with my own children,” Obama said in a press release. “At this time when so many families are under so much stress, I’m excited to give kids a chance to practice their reading and hear some wonderful stories (and to give parents and caretakers a much-needed break).”

Throughout the month, Obama will read the classic “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” as well as “Miss Maple’s Seeds” and “There’s a Dragon in Your Book,” according to the Hill.
