Anyone in search of a new cooking show will enjoy “The Shape of Pasta,” which chronicles the story of Evan Funke, who shows off his new restaurant where he cooks a slew of new types of pasta. He heads to Italy to learn more about pasta and different meals to make as well.
The beauty of the show is that it’s more than just food. It’s a history lesson into Italy and pasta at the same time. We learn more about pasta types and and about the history of small Italian towns.
There’s so many different types of pasta, so this show gives us a look at a few more. It’s a fun watch that will do well for people who want to enjoy some food shows without the commercials. The Quibi format gives us the delicious part of a food-based show rather than the boring side of tasteless vegetables.
That said, the show does have some curse words so be on the watch out for that. But it is a cleaner, brighter show than some of the darker shows you might see on Quibi. So anyone interested in Quibi and in food may want to give this one a look.
