Britney Spears decided to spend two weeks in self-isolation so that she could see her two children amid the coronavirus pandemic.

What’s the news:

  • Multiple reports suggest Spears visited Louisiana to spend time with her family during the coronavirus pandemic. She later decided to travel back to Los Angeles so she could see her sons, Jayden and Sean.
  • Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, reportedly told Spears to quarantine for two weeks before seeing her sons again.
  • Spears reportedly spent those two weeks in isolation and gladly quarantined to make sure her children were safe.
  • Reports suggest Spears saw her two children for a couple of hours during two visits.

Why did she visit Louisiana?

  • Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, told Entertainment Tonight that Britney Spears visited her home of Louisiana because she didn’t want to be alone during the pandemic. Most of her family still resides in Louisiana.
  • She said: “Britney was like, ‘I want to come home, I don’t want to be by myself out here,’ because all of her family’s pretty much here. So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so. She was here for my birthday and for (my daughter) Ivey’s birthday.”
