Disney World announced it would start taking dining reservations beginning on Thursday, June 18.

  • Guests at Walt Disney World resort can make reservations for dinner from June 22 to July 10, depending on when they’re staying at the resort.
  • To make the reservations, guests will need to confirm their hotel reservation.
  • Select Disney Springs dining spots can be reserved online.
  • In-park dining options are not available.
  • Guests will need “valid park admission, a reservation for park entry and a dining reservation” to eat food at an in-park restaurant.

Some extra context

  • Walt Disney World will begin opening their parks on July 11. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will be the first locations to open on that date. Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will reopen on July 15.
  • Disney has remained closed since about mid-March because of the COVID-19 outbreak. All of Disney’s parks closed down because of the pandemic.
  • Disney Springs reopened in the United States back in May, giving Disney fans their first taste of the Disney experience again.
  • All Disney locations will follow health and safety guidelines upon reopening. Face coverings, temperature checks and social distancing remain constant additions to the new parks.
