Not only is July 22 National Hot Dog Day, but the month of July is National Hot Dog Month.
It’s a popular time of the year for hot dogs — Americans eat an estimated 7 billion hot dogs between Memorial Day and Labor Day, according to CNN.
Americans have plenty of different ways of enjoying them, too. A 2019 survey of 1,000 people found that 33% said that mustard was their favorite hot dog condiment, followed closely by 30% who preferred ketchup, according to USA Today. Onions came next with 11% and relish at 10%.

Dog Haus is offering a free hot dog when you order pickup delivery with their app, or when you scan the app with an in-store purchase, on July 22.
J. Dawgs
J. Dawgs has a deal for a GIY kit that includes six hot dogs for the price of five. The kit comes with six pre-cut hot dogs, six buns, special sauce and condiments for $20.
Sonic Drive-In
Sonic is offering $1 hot dogs all day long on July 22 (five dog maximum).
Wienerschnitzel
Wienerschnitzel is offering five chili dogs for $5 on July 22.
