Social media noticed a pair of Air Jordan sneakers during Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s speech at the 2021 Inauguration Day for President Joe Biden, and now we know who owned them.
What happened
- Klobuchar spoke from the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday in support of Biden becoming president. She also celebrated America in her speech.
- Internet sleuths caught an image of someone walking down the Capitol steps in a pair of Air Jordan sneakers. Specifically, the shoes were Air Jordan Dior 1s.
- More photos later revealed it was Nikolas Ajagu who wore the shoes. Ajagu is the husband of Menna Harris, who is the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Air Jordan Dior 1s sell for somewhere between $12,000 and $14,000. So yeah, they’re not cheap by any means.
- “The collection balances timeless silhouettes from the Jordan and Dior vaults while bringing new life to classic sport styles. Relaxed, minimalistic wool suits reflect the art of detail,” according to Dior’s website.
