The Roman philosopher Seneca (and the ’90s alt rock band Semisonic) once said: “Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” The folks over at Marvel are apparently taking those words to heart.
On March 6, only one day after the “WandaVision” finale aired, the superhero franchise released a teaser for its upcoming series, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” which debuts on Disney+ later this month.
Spliced between shots of explosions, speeding motorcycles and skydiving, the 30-second clip, titled “Coworkers,” shows the series’ titular characters expressing their indifference about working with one another.
In an article for Collider, Carly Lane suggests that, perhaps the characters’ time together can help them realize everything they have in common, and not only their connections to Steve Rogers.
SyFy reports that the series, directed by Malcolm Spellman, will answer questions like when Bucky Barnes’ mind was healed, how Sam Wilson became Falcon and what drove Agent Sharon Carter underground.
