Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the upcoming “Loki” Disney+ miniseries, and it looks to be something like Marvel’s version of Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet.”
Is there a new ‘Loki’ trailer?
Disney+ released the new “Loki” official trailer on Monday morning. It shows the 2012 version of Loki arrive at an unknown location after stealing the tesseract in “Avengers: Endgame.”
- Now captured, Loki is asked to help an organization — called the Time Variance Authority — put the timeline of the universe back and order. Of course, Loki is a trickster who is up to no good, so it’s unclear if the TVA trust Loki to get the job done.
The trailer hints at a time travel story where a protagonist — in this case, Loki — has to set things right and move through time. In a lot of ways, it feels like a version of “Tenet,” the Christopher Nolan film released in 2020 where a character literally named Protagonist had to travel through time (sort of) to make things right with the world.
