“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” has continued to film its second season amid the Jennifer Shah arrest scandal, Us Weekly magazine reports.

What happened to Jen Shah?

Last week, Shah — the “RHOSLC” star — was arrested on multiple charges, which included “conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering,” as the Deseret News reported. Shah may end up facing 30 years and 20 years in prison, respectively, for those charges.

Is ‘RHOSLC’ filming Season 2?

Unnamed sources told Us Weekly magazine that “RHOSLC” has not stopped filming its second season despite the arrest.

  • “Production sees this as a great story line,” the source told Us Weekly. “One that everyone will want to see unfold.”
  • “It’s ratings gold,” the unnamed source told Us Weekly. “They’re going to use as much footage as they can that they’re legally allowed to use.”
  • And, according to the unnamed source, Jen Shah “still intends on filming with the cast” for Season 2. She is currently not locked up in prison, so there’s that.

Other reports for ‘RHOSLC’ Season 2

According to Variety, “RHOSLC” was already filming Season 2 at the time of the arrest. The cast members were reportedly filming before a trip to Colorado. Shah reportedly said on set that she had an emergency with her husband so she had to leave, as I explained for the Deseret News.

“Real Housewives” executive producer Andy Cohen told Variety that “RHOSLC” was in the middle of filming for Season 2.

  • “This could mean that Shah’s arrest could have been captured on camera and might be seen in the show,” according to Insider.
