Hollywood celebrities are among the thousands of Southern California residents who have lost their homes amid the blaze.

More than 2,000 structures and 17,230 acres have burned in the ongoing Los Angeles County fires, reports the Los Angeles Times. The outlet called it “one of the most destructive firestorms to hit the region in memory.”

Over 130,000 LA county residents are currently under evacuation orders.

According to an estimation from AccuWeather, the damage from the fires has reached a “total economic loss at $52 billion to $57 billion — a sum that could rise if the fires continue to spread,” per the Los Angeles Times.

“We are absolutely not out of danger yet,” Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Kristin Crowley said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Portions of Los Angeles and Ventura Country will remain under a critical fire weather watch through Friday as strong winds and dry conditions continue to fuel the inferno, reported the National Weather Service. Several Hollywood stars residing in the area have reported losing their homes in the blaze.
