Grab your duck calls. After an eight-year break, A&E is returning to “Duck Dynasty.”

The cable network has ordered two seasons of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival,” which, like the original “Duck Dynasty” series, will feature the Robertson family and its Louisiana-based Duck Commander business.

“The new updated series will feature Willie and Korie Robertson, Miss Kay, Uncle Si and other favorite family members from the original hit show and will catch viewers up on the lives of the kids and teens the audience knows and loves: John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca and their growing families,” according to an A&E press release.

“Duck Dynasty: The Revival” will undoubtedly put a spotlight on faith, since, from the beginning, the “Duck Dynasty” stars used their TV fame to promote Christianity.

Episodes of the original 11 seasons of the show ended in a prayer.

“If you look at the spiritual impact of that, with all the hundreds of millions of people all over the world who watched ‘Duck Dynasty’ that ended in a prayer, prayers went into living rooms of people who didn’t even know what prayer was,” said Willie Robertson during a 2023 appearance at Liberty University. “They were exposed to the Gospel.”

After becoming TV stars, several members of the Robertson family published books on faith, including Willie Robertson and his daughter, Sadie.

Upon the release of his latest book, “Gospeler: Turning Darkness into Light One Conversation at a Time,” Willie Robertson spoke with The Christian Post about the importance of equipping all Christians — and not just pastors — to speak openly about their faith.

“I think the call is for everyone. It’s not just for smart people or the disciples and apostles and pastors,” he said.

The first season of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” will premiere on A&E sometime this summer, according to A&E’s press release.

In a statement included in the press release, Willie Robertson and his wife, Korie, expressed excitement about their return to TV.

“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home. We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures,” they said.
