“American Idol” is now down to a top nine.
On Monday night, the top 11 singers left in the “Idol” competition celebrated the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by performing songs from inductees over the years.

Special performances during ‘American Idol’ Rock and Roll Hall of Fame episode
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-themed episode also featured special performances from guest artists.
Billy Idol took the stage to perform his hit “Rebel Yell” with “Idol” judge and country superstar Carrie Underwood.
Rock and roll power couple Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo performed a medley of “Heartbreaker” and “Ring of Fire.”
Seacrest also announced the 2026 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees during the live episode. The performers include:

What happens next on ‘American Idol’?
During the next episode of “American Idol,” which airs Monday, April 20, the top nine artists will perform Disney songs for a shot at making the top seven.
