Taylor Swift returned to her country roots with a new song she released for the “Toy Story 5″ movie.

The song is called “I Knew It, I Knew You,” and was produced with her “pal” Jack Antonoff for the film.

“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time,” Swift wrote for a post on X. “Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond."

There are 14 instruments featured in the song, with Antonoff credited for playing nine of them.

Days before the song’s release, Swift, Disney and Pixar hinted that a collaboration was coming. At first, it was subtle with billboards with the trademark “Toy Story” font and clouds with the initials “TS,” which fans figured was referring to Taylor Swift, not “Toy Story.”

Speculations swirled as more billboards kept popping up, until Pixar posted on social media with a video of Jessie dancing in front of a “TS” billboard with the caption, “She’s making those moves up as she goes!” That’s a clear reference to Swift’s song “Shake It Off.”

Finally, Swift and Disney put the suspicions to rest Monday afternoon when Swift posted on social media confirming that she is part of the soundtrack and also listed CDs of the single on her website for purchase.
