SALT LAKE CITY — Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints convened a second virtual global general conference during an international pandemic on Oct. 3-4, 2020.
“A pandemic cannot and will not stop the Lord from embracing us,” President Russell M. Nelson said in an email to church members before the conference. “His love is constant. He never stops watching over us. ... You and I have a special opportunity to feel his love during the upcoming general conference.”
The virtual gathering was the 190th Semiannual General Conference of the church.
