Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, along with his wife, Sister Patricia T. Holland, will be among the featured speakers at this year’s free online RootsTech Conference taking place Feb. 25-27.

Elder and Sister Holland will be the main speakers at Family Discovery Day on Feb. 27, a day designated to sharing connections with people from around the world.

The Hollands and their family plan to share family memories and stories through a video that was recorded at various locations around their hometown of St. George, Utah. They will discuss how to connect to one’s heritage, ancestors, immediate family and God, according to a church statement.

Family Discovery Day, sponsored by FamilySearch, will be streamed on, YouTube, Latter-day Saints Channel and other media channels. The broadcast will also be available on demand following the event.

Three other apostles — Elder David A. Bednar, Elder Gary E. Stevenson and Elder Dale G. Renlund — will host a training on temple and family history work for leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during RootsTech.

On-demand viewing of the training will be available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Swedish starting Feb. 25 at or the Church broadcast page. A recording of the training will be added to the Gospel Library after the event.

The Hollands are the latest speakers to be announced for RootsTech’s first virtual conference. Four keynote speakers were announced last November.
