The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released an updated rendering of the Buenos Aires City Center Argentina Temple.

The updated rendering was released Monday, April 27, replacing the original rendering released in June 2025.

Plans to construct the Buenos Aires City Center temple — to be the second Latter-day Saint temple in Buenos Aires and one of seven in Argentina — were first announced during the church’s October 2022 general conference by former Church President Russell M. Nelson.

Site plans and a location were later determined and released on Dec. 16, 2024.

“Let us never lose sight of what the Lord is doing for us now,” President Nelson said in October 2022, just moments before announcing the Buenos Aires City Center temple and 17 others.

The Lord “is making his temples more accessible,” he said. “He is increasing our ability to help gather Israel.”

At the time President Nelson announced those 18 temples, the church had 275 other temples already in operation, under construction or in planning/design stages.

Today, the church has 384 temples in operation, under construction or in planning/design stages.
