I have been told that in life, there are builders, and there are destroyers.

It takes a great deal of time to build a beautiful structure, fit to endure and serve for many years, and relatively little time to demolish and destroy a building that is no longer wanted or needed.

As a people, we build as we come together; recognizing and relishing what we share and have in common, celebrating our uniqueness; being tolerant and accepting, while offering mutual respect and understanding; pressing forward; being united in purpose and in our vision for the future, undaunted and tireless in finding mutual resolutions.

It’s difficult to build. It’s easier to destroy.

Life, especially the life we find ourselves in at this time, appears to have plenty of opportunities for builders and those willing to look for, and work towards solutions to the problems that we face.
