Utah Rep. Blake Moore will host the annual summer meeting for the National Republican Congressional Committee in the Beehive State this weekend, according to a release first seen by the Deseret News.
The NRCC is the main campaign arm for the House GOP tasked with electing Republicans.
The meeting will be attended by House Republican leaders, GOP lawmakers seeking reelection, and candidates looking to flip Democratic-held seats in November. Moore serves as the vice chair of the House Republican Conference, the No. 5 position in GOP leadership.
“I’m proud to support our majority makers as they go on the offense in battleground districts as we deliver on a conservative agenda that lowers costs, grows wages, restores energy dominance, and keeps our communities safe,” Moore said in a statement. “We are working hard to secure the path to a victory as we restore sanity in Washington.”
The annual summer meeting comes just months before the November midterm elections when Republicans will seek to maintain, or grow, their slim majority in the House. The meeting serves as an opportunity for House Republicans to fundraise and strategize messaging.
The meeting will take place a week and a half before Moore has his own primary election on June 23 against state Rep. Karianne Lisonbee for the Republican nomination. That primary has shaped up to be one of the more contentious primaries in the state as Lisonbee accuses Moore of being responsible for recent gerrymandering decisions granting Democrats a House seat in the 2026 elections.
But Moore has aggressively approached the campaign, especially when it comes to fundraising and earning the endorsements of top House Republican leaders such as Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., and Rep. Jim Jordan, the founder of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.
Moore worked with NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson, R-N.C., to secure Utah as the location for the annual meeting to support candidates in battleground districts.
