Former U.S. women’s soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo announced Tuesday she’s pregnant with twins, according to Fox News.

What happened: Solo appeared as a host on the beIN Sports Show. She said she was having a baby boy and a baby girl.

  • She said she has a “miniature soccer team” on the way.
  • Solo retweeted a video of the clip with two baby emojis, USA Today reports.

Flashback: Solo told Elle Magazine in June that she nearly died after she had a miscarriage.

  • “The doctor said I was hours from dying,” Solo told the magazine. “They ended up having to remove my fallopian tube.”
  • She later started in vitro fertilization.
  • Hope Solo and her husband, former NFL tight end Jerramy Stevens, have tried to get pregnant for a few years, according to Yahoo Sports.
