The future of BYU football just got a little brighter.

In an announcement made via Twitter Monday night, Bingham High standout Isaiah Glasker committed to the Cougars and became the 12th member of BYU’s 2021 recruiting class.

A 247Sports composite three-star recruit, the 6-5, 195 pound Glasker is the 17th highest-rated recruit in the state of Utah and the 129th-rated athlete (his designated position by recruiting services) in the country.

Glasker choose BYU over Weber State — the Wildcats were one of two teams to offer him a scholarship, BYU being the other — Utah and Utah State, according to 247Sports.

Glasker played on both offense and defense this past season for Bingham. On offense, he proved a prolific pass catcher and finished the year with a 48 receptions for 811 yards and nine touchdowns, all team-highs. On defense, he racked up 31 tackles and three interceptions.

Glasker is the third Miner to commit to an in-state FBS program this year. Defensive ends Viliami Pouha and Tupou Maile are committed to Utah and Utah State, respectively.
