SALT LAKE CITY — Eight is enough — or is it?

Kyle Whittingham and the University of Utah have this NFL draft process down, and the program is hoping to set the record for number of Utes taken in a single draft this weekend.

That record was set three years ago, when eight Utah players were selected in the 2017 NFL draft. This year, though, a program record nine Utes were invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, and the team has a few others who could hear their named called in the 2020 draft, which runs Thursday through Saturday.
