The opportunity for BYU fans to see the football team this spring won’t happen after all.

The school announced Tuesday that, “due to forecasted weather and related player safety concerns,” the team’s final practice on Friday will be moved to the Indoor Practice Facility — it was originally scheduled for LaVell Edwards Stadium.

As such, fans can not be accommodated at the indoor venue.

BYU announced last week that up to 7,500 would be allowed to attend the practice at LaVell Edwards Stadium. The school said it will process refunds automatically for those who purchased tickets for the practice and no action is required.
