BYU has the third commit of its 2022 football recruiting class, as Wasatch High athlete Jarinn Kalama announced on Wednesday that he’s committed to Kalani Sitake’s program.

Kalama is rated a three-star athlete by 247 Sports and the No. 30 recruit in the state of Utah.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Kalama plays both wide receiver and free safety for the Wasps in 2020. He had 54 receptions for 553 yards and 12 touchdowns last year for Wasatch, per the Deseret News’ prep stats database, and added 18 tackles and two interceptions defensively.
