The 2021 high school girls lacrosse season gets underway this week for teams across the state. After last year’s canceled season — in what was supposed to be lacrosse’s first as a sanctioned UHSAA sport — the anticipation for the 2021 season is sky high.
To prepare fans for the upcoming season, the Deseret News has put together capsules for every girls lacrosse team in 6A. Every coach was invited to participate and submit information.
The region rankings are based on coaches’ preseason projections.

“We are super excited for this season. Watching how far lacrosse has come in the last few years has been incredible to watch. Honestly, it will be such a rewarding season for all the teams as we have several new teams within the region and state that are just beginning. As well as teams that used to be at a club level and are expanding as they are school sanctioned.
