A dominant pitching performance from sophomore phenom Jeremiah Hall forced a Game 3 in the 5A championship series between Spanish Fork and Maple Mountain.
Hall threw 6 ⅔ innings, and gave up just one base hit in the 3-0 win for the Golden Eagles. He struck out nine Don batters.

The Golden Eagles scored two runs in the second inning, thanks to RBI hits from freshman Kye Ward and Nash Ferguson. They tacked on another in the fifth inning on an RBI single from Mitch Walker.
The star of the show though, was Hall, who kept the talented Spanish Fork lineup at bay all game long. He allowed just seven total baserunners, but three of those reached by error.
Despite the errors, the defense behind Hall was excellent. Hayden Hyatt and Lincoln Beenfield made some very nice plays to help their pitcher out.
These Region 7 rivals will play again at 4:30 this afternoon to decide the 5A title.
