Utah added commitments from Timpview teammates Ian Aloisio and Fui Vakapuna to kick off the week.

Aloisio, a three-star interior offensive lineman, chose the Utes over Arizona. Rated an 88 by 247Sports, Aloisio is ranked as the No. 37 interior lineman in the nation and the No. 7 overall prospect in the state of Utah.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman was named an honorable mention on the Deseret News 5A All-State team.

Utah coach Morgan Scalley has made offensive line a priority this cycle, receiving commitments from three-stars Sire Stewart and Damian Anyasodo. Aloisio’s addition makes it three in the 2027 class.

Aloisio’s teammate on the opposite side of the ball, linebacker Fui Vakapuna, will join him 45 miles north at Utah.

The three-star chose the Utes over Colorado, Cal and Minnesota. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Vakapuna is rated a an 87 by 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 64 linebacker nationally and the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Utah.

Last year at Corner Canyon, Vakapuna had 65 tackles, an interception and a sack.

The Utes are now at 19 commitments in Morgan Scalley’s inaugural recruiting class, including eight from the state of Utah.
