Glasker now has three touchdowns in his first four career collegiate touches, along with 75 total yards.
11:22 — Preston Rex joins the BYU scoring party.
The former safety-turned-running back notched his first career touchdown on a 9-yard carry, putting the Cougars ahead by 28 points. BYU 28, Utah Tech 0.
BYU’s drive came courtesy of an interception by Evan Johnson, following which the Cougars traveled 65 yards into the end zone on five snaps.
Bear Bachmeier helped produce two chunk plays with receptions of 15 and 20 yards each to Kyler Kasper and Reggie Frischknecht, now sitting at 9 of 12 in passing for 105 yards thus far today.

The second-year QB led a 13-play, 82-yard scoring drive that ended with a Jojo Phillips touchdown to give the Cougars a 14-point advantage. BYU 14, Utah Tech 0.
Bachmeier went 5 of 5 on passing during the drive for 38 yards, with two catches and 22 yards coming from new BYU tight end Walker Lyons.
The Cougars have also enjoyed early success on the ground, as LJ Martin and Sione Moa have combined for 46 yards on nine carries.

BYU’s freshman receiving phenom had an eventful first career touch, taking the handoff from Bear Bachmeier on a jet sweep and scooting nine yards into the end zone to open the Cougars’ 2026 scoring. BYU 7, Utah Tech 0.
Glasker’s touchdown was preceded by a diving interception from Tre Alexander on the first play of the evening, beginning the BYU defense’s Kelly Poppinga era with a turnover.
