OREM — Utah Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a “possible suicide” that backed up traffic for miles during the morning commute.
Officers were notified of the body of a man in his early 20s lying on the northbound I-15 freeway under the University Parkway overpass about 6 a.m. Friday.
“It appears that the individual may have jumped from the structure, where he was struck by several vehicles traveling north,” according to a UHP statement.
Investigators closed multiple lanes Friday morning.
