CHARLESTON, Wasatch County — Police have identified a 17-year-old killed in a crash near Deer Creek Reservoir on Friday.
Jackson A. Keate, of Highland, was driving a Honda Civic northbound on U.S. 189 on a narrow area when his car drifted off the road to the right, causing him to overcorrect and veer back onto the road into oncoming traffic, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.
The Honda sideswiped a southbound Subaru Crosstrek, troopers said. The crash made the Honda spin, and a minivan hit its driver’s side, killing Keate.
