PROVO — A 23-year-old student died Tuesday after his car was struck pulling out of a Taco Bell in Provo, police confirmed.

Provo police responded to the accident near 400 North and 900 East shortly before 4 p.m, Sgt. Nisha King said Tuesday, after the student’s car, which appears to be a silver sedan, was T-boned by a vehicle driving on 900 East.

It was unclear whether the other driver was injured.

The name and age of the student, as well as the school in Provo he was attending, were not immediately released Tuesday.

The accident is under investigation, and King could not say whether speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
