SPANISH FORK — A 12-year-old boy was killed on Saturday after he fell while riding his bicycle.
The boy and his brother had been riding alongside their father, who was driving a side-by-side towing a trailer in a field near 4600 S. 1450 West. The boy somehow fell or stumbled and was hit by the equipment, and suffered serious head injuries, according to Utah County Sheriff Sgt. Spencer Cannon.
First responders could not revive the boy and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The boy’s name was not immediately released.
