Kilby Block Party has announced its highly anticipated 2027 lineup, which features indie musicians from around the world — and the festival’s home of Salt Lake City.
Last year’s festival, headlined by indie pop superstar Lorde, will be a difficult act to follow. The singer called Kilby “the absolute coolest festival ever.”
The 2027 Kilby Block Party lineup features six headliners:
- Deftones
- Fontaines D.C.
- The Strokes
- Slayyter
- Jungle
- Lil Yachty
A few names have also not yet been announced and are marked on the festival poster with question marks.
Other featured artists include Two Door Cinema Club, Julien Baker and Spoon. This year also includes a number of international acts, including:
- Wolf Parade, from Canada
- Bandalos Chinos, from Argentina
- Idles, from England
Kilby Block Party began as an actual block party in 2019 in Salt Lake City. Over the years, it has grown exponentially, moving from the Kilby Court venue to the Utah State Fairpark and attracting over 34,000 visitors in 2026.
According to an economic impact report, 46% of 2026 Kilby Block Party attendees were out-of-state visitors, and the festival contributed $33.5 million to the state GDP.
Despite that growth, Kilby Block Party remains rooted in Utah. Every year’s lineup has included local acts, including The Moss and Ritt Momney last year. The 2027 Kilby Block Party lineup features several Utah artists, including:
- Olympic Deth, founded in Provo
- Seeking the Sun, which is split between Salt Lake City and New York City
- Choir Boy, which is based in Salt Lake City and has performed previously at Kilby Block Party
The 2027 Kilby Block Party will take place May 14-16 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. Early bird tickets are sold out, but general admission ($245) and VIP ($409) 3-day passes will go on sale on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. MDT. Festival organizers have not yet announced when single-day passes will be available.
