C.R. England & Sons, a Salt Lake-based trucking company, is building new corporate headquarters and truck terminal at 4701 W. 2100 South and will begin operations Dec. 8.

The new building will house the company's upper management staff and personnel department, new training facilities, a complete service and shop area and a dispatch office.Chester R. England started the company in the 1920s and it now has 1,000 employees, 700 trucks on the road and more than 1,050 refrigerated trailers.
