The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) today named senior tight end Peter Macon of Weber State to the Kodak All-American Team for University Division 1-AA. Macon becomes the first Weber State player to be named First Team All-American since Mike Humiston (linebacker), received the honor in 1980.

Macon led NCAA Division 1-AA in receiving this past season with 92 catches and had 1,047 yards and six touchdowns. His 92 catches is the fourth best single-season effort in NCAA Division 1-AA history.Macon had five double-figure receiving games this past season, including a career high of 13 catches vs. Montana, and had six 100-plus yard games as well. He averaged 8.4 catches per game, 11.4 yards per reception and 95.2 yards per game. He earned First Team All-Big Sky honors.
