The Milwaukee Bucks signed veteran guard Rickey Green to a contract for the balance of the season Wednesday while placing guard Mark Davis on the injured list.

Davis has been bothered by a lower back strain, the team said.Green appeared in 33 games with the Charlotte Hornets this season before he was waived Feb. 22. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.5 assists with the Hornets.
