"It's a perfect place for filming," the actress said after signing papers Wednesday night in Atlanta to close the transaction that gives her most of Braselton, a northeastern Georgia town of 500 people.Basinger said she hopes to use some of the 1,728 acres for which she paid $20 million to build a "major film studio" and a "major recording studio," perhaps the biggest on the East Coast and maybe even the biggest in the world. But she also has promised to keep a flavor of the old-time South.
