Two attorneys from Bountiful have been named new members of the Davis County Mental Health board of directors. James B. Hanks and David M. McConkie are both serving three-year terms.

Hanks first obtained a degree in mining engineering from the University of Utah, working during college as a coal miner and in open pit copper mines in states around the West. He graduated from Gonzaga University law school in 1984 and practices with Kipp & Christian in Salt Lake.McConkie attended Brigham Young University and graduated from the U. with a degree in history, then earned a law degree in 1977. He practices with the Salt Lake firm of Kirton, McConkie and Poelman.
