Skip Hall resigned as Boise State's coach Saturday following the Broncos' 62-16 loss to Idaho.

"I resign my position as the head football coach at Boise State in the best interest of all concerned," Hall said. "I have strong feelings about the program and want to see it continue to develop and grow, and will support it in every way."Hall would not comment further Saturday night.

Hall leaves with a 5-6 record this year, and a 42-28 record overall.
