Carl A. Sandberg, 82, died peacefully, March 28, 1992 at the home of his daughter in West Jordan, Utah.

He was born in Richfield, November 14, 1909 to Nels and Caroline Jensen Sandberg. He married Dona Hansen January 15, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah; the marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple June, 1952.After working ten years for Utah Copper, he returned to Richfield, where he co-founded, then co-owned, H & S. Concrete Products for 33 years.

He active participated in many sports and was especially noted for fishing, hunting, and golf.

He enjoyed his work with the Explorer Scouts. He was an active member of the Richfield Lions Club, where he served one term as president.

Many wonderful retirement years were spent traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Dona, Richfield; three daughters, one son and their spouses, JoAnn and Rex Christensen of Salina; Sally and Nial McClellan of St. George; Susan and David Pasi; and David and Cathy Sandberg, all of West Jordan; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, J. Warren Sandberg of Nipomo, Calif.; Jay L. Sandberg of Bountiful; and Myrle S. Anderson of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J.D. and Clay Sandberg; and son-in-law, Larry McClellan.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 1992, in the Richfield 2nd LDS Ward chapel, 400 North 200 West. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S.
